Bendungan Hilir, also known as Benhil, is a Kelurahan (Administrative Village) located in the Kecamatan (Subdistrict) of Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia.
It has a total area of 1.5816 km2 and a population of 19,773. Bendungan Hilir consists of 125 rukun tetangga (RT) dan 9 rukun warga (RW). Bendungan Hilir area code is 10210.
During the late 19th century to early 20th century, Bendungan Hilir is organized into a residential area for the Dutch people. Despite of this, the area is not very popular for the Dutch people, but it was favored by the local people. This contribute to the creation of several local markets such as Pasar Benhil (Benhil Market)
